I found it totally refreshing that Susan Schenck, one of my favorite raw food chefs – I love her recipes – eats eggs and meat for breakfast, now, and cooked veges! She changed and went towards what her body was telling her. After reading the book, “how to eat for your blood type,” recently, I actually did away, as an experiment, with bananas, tomatoes, cashews, peppers, a few others… so i started eating a few cooked gluten free products to compensate, mostly rice crackers, Essene breads and almond cheese. I have felt so balanced the last 30 days! Isn’t that weird! So balanced, not questioning any more how my hunger is, not worried about what to eat next. I just feel so balanced, and still retain the same weight – yet wonderful energy. That blood type stuff makes so much sense. There are foods which actually aglutinate (kind of like glue, they stick) to the walls of the intestines, depending on your blood type. no wonder I had so much plaque in my body! Anyway, it’s quite fascinating, and a fun experiment. I’ve enjoyed this month of eating.
