    This week has felt super-rushed.

I’m sure you’ve had those kind
    of weeks before. :-)

    I don’t really like when I feel
    like this. (I don’t think
    anyone does!)

    But it’s inevitable.

    The truth about feeling rushed
is this… it’s all in your head.

I know it may be hard to swallow,
    but it is.

    Here’s why…

    People react differently to
    different situations.

One person can freak out when
    their schedule is booked tightly
and another can be cool as a
    juiced cucumber with lemon.

    Here’s the kicker: This could
happen even if they both have
    the SAME schedule.

Why does this happen? (And how
does this type of stress affect
    your health?)

It happens because we each have
    certain belief systems that
either work with us or against
    us.

    If you’re stressed out, your
    systems are jammed up with
    messages of priority, “should
    do’s” and “aren’t good enoughs.”

    If you’re not stressed, your
system is dealing in the present.

    Efficient.

How does it affect your health?

What happens when a power grid
    is overloaded?

    A transformer explodes or a
    blackout.

    Same with your body. Things
get out of whack – particularly
    your hormones.

So what do you do when you
get this way and how do you
    cool down?

    I use a few things.

First I write down what my real
    priorities are.

So I find out what is really
important and what is not so
    important.

Second, I go for a run.

This is my meditation on the
    move.

    Third, I use EFT.

    This is a simple meridian
    tapping technique that helps
me calm down in some of the most
    stressful situations.

I’ve been doing this for a while
and at first thought it was
    ridiculous.

(Never judge before you try it!)

Now, it’s part of my stress
    relief tool box.

    My friend (yes, real friend…
    I’ve known him since second
grade) and expert in the technique
is putting on a free ONLINE event
where you can learn more about
    tapping.

    I think you’ll like it.

Here’s where you can sign up…

NOTE: You’ll have to sign up
before the 21st of February to
access all of the event. :-)

    So, off to Hippocrates…

Be sure to sign up for the event,
get some crunchies and have a
    stress-free day!

    Live Awesome!
